What’s useful to say
- The problem, not just the fix. “I lose track of what I already put in the trolley” tells us more than “add a counter”, and often leads somewhere better.
- When it comes up. Something you hit on every shop matters more than a one-off.
- How you shop. One big weekly trip, several small ones, multiple shops in a day; the app should fit real habits.
- What you use today. If another app or a paper list does one thing well, say which thing.
Already on the list
No need to send these in; they’re known and wanted:
- iCloud sync between devices.
- Sharing a list with another person.
Seconding them is still useful, though. What gets asked for most tends to get built first.
A note on scope
The tagline is “nothing else” and it’s meant literally. Some good ideas will be turned down simply to keep the app small and quick. That’s not a judgement on the idea. Every suggestion still gets read.
